◆ようやく見つけたフリースクール
マナは、優子の「養護学校にだけは行きたくない❗️」という思いを尊重するため、“フリースクール”をネットなどで検索をし、あるフリースクールに辿り着く。
優子の障害である「精神遅延」をもう少し詳しく述べると、知力と精神的な成長が❬年齢×3分の2❭という状態が続いていくことである。そして、医者から「この障害は一生治らない」と言われた時のことをマナは、「死刑宣告」と言った。
精神遅延は、本人が歳をとれば、知力も精神も実年齢に追い付いていく。生活も次第に落ち着き出すが、それまでが大変なのだ。しかも優子は、19歳の時に統合失調症と境界性人格障害という更なる障害を診断されたが、それら新たな障害が診断される前に優子は先述したフリースクールに入学した。
◆小椋正美市長のフリースクール批判はズレているのか❓️
最近、フリースクールに関して東近江市の小椋正美(おぐら まさきよ)市長が、「文部科学省がフリースクールな存在を認めたことに愕然としている。国家の根幹を崩してしまう」と発言して大いに叩かれた。
フリースクールや不登校の児童に対して厳しいことを言えば、途端に数百倍の批判が襲いかかる。ワイドショーのコメンテーターたちにとっては、小椋市長は格好の餌食となった。小椋市長を「ずれている」「全然分かっていない」と激しく批判したコメンテーターもいたが、敢えて自分はこう言いたい。
「小椋市長の言っていることは正しいのではないのか❓️」と。
マナからフリースクールの異常性を聞いているため、小椋市長がおっしゃっていることに思わず賛同してしまった(小椋市長発言の意図自体は分からないが)。
◆１年で消えた“フリースクール”
フリースクールとは───、
日本ではもっぱら不登校者の学びの場という意味合いが強く、学習の場を提供する施設であり、通信教育をサポートする教育機関をフリースクールと総称されている。マナはネットで条件に当てはまるフリースクールを探し、説明会に行きあるフリースクールを選んだのだ。
１年目、このフリースクールは母娘にとって居心地のよい素晴らしい学校であった。教師も、教育方針も。だが、２年目以降このフリースクールは全く変貌してしまう。
それまで居た教師たちが次々と姿を消していき、教育方針も変わっていく。優子の同級生も消えた、というよりも“逃げ出した”というべきか。フリースクールは、説明会や優子が入学して１年目とは似ても似つかない状態になったのである。
メディアが称賛しキャンペーンを張るもの───、LGBTでもSDGsでも相当気を付けなければならない。扇動屋に乗せられて一番被害に合うのは、立場の弱い者なのだから。
